Dua before leaving the house
Ø¨ÙØ³Ù’م٠اللَّه٠تَوَكَّلْـت٠عَلَى Ø§Ù„Ù„Ù‘ÙŽÙ‡ÙØŒ وَلاَ ØÙŽÙˆÙ’Ù„ÙŽ وَلاَ Ù‚Ùـوَّةَ Ø¥Ùلاَّ Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„لَّهÙ
Transliteration: Bismillahi tawakkaltu a’alal-lahi wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah
Translation: In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah

Transliteration: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Subhanal ladhi sakh-khara la-na hadha wa ma kunna la-hu muqrineen, wa inna ila Rabbi-na la munqalibun
Translation: Allah is great, Allah is great, Allah is great! Glory be unto Him Who created these (transportation) for us, for we could have never done so ˹on our own˺. And unto our Lord we shall return.

اَللّٰهÙÙ…ÙŽÙ‘ Ø¥Ùنَّا نَسْأَلÙÙƒÙŽ ÙÙيْ سَÙَرÙنَا هٰذَا Ø§Ù„Ù’Ø¨ÙØ±ÙŽÙ‘ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ، ÙˆÙŽÙ…ÙÙ†ÙŽ الْعَمَل٠مَا تَرْضَىٰ، اَللّٰهÙÙ…ÙŽÙ‘ Ù‡ÙŽÙˆÙّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَÙَرَنَا هٰذَا وَاطْو٠عَنَّا Ø¨ÙØ¹Ù’Ø¯ÙŽÙ‡ÙØŒ اَللّٰهÙÙ…ÙŽÙ‘ أَنْتَ الصَّاØÙب٠ÙÙÙŠ السَّÙÙŽØ±ÙØŒ وَالْخَلÙيْÙَة٠ÙÙÙŠ الْأَهْلÙ
Transliteration: Allahumma inna nas-aluka fee safarina ha-dhal birra, wat-taqwa, wa minal ‘amal ma tar-daw. Allahuma hawwin A’laina safarana ha-dha wat-wi anna bo’adha. Allahumma anta-s saaw-hibu fis-safari wal khaleefathu fil ahli.
Translation: O Allah, we ask You in our travel for righteousness, taqwa, and good deeds that You are pleased with. O Allah make our travel an ease and shorten the distance for us. O Allah, You are our Companion in travel and the guardian of our family (in our absence).
اَللّٰهÙÙ…ÙŽÙ‘ Ø¥ÙÙ†Ùّيْ أَعÙوْذ٠بÙÙƒÙŽ Ù…Ùنْ وَعْثَاء٠السَّÙÙŽØ±ÙØŒ ÙˆÙŽÙƒÙŽØ¢Ø¨ÙŽØ©Ù Ø§Ù„Ù’Ù…ÙŽÙ†Ù’Ø¸ÙŽØ±ÙØŒ وَسÙوْء٠الْمÙنْقَلَب٠ÙÙيْ الْمَال٠وَالْأَهْلÙ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni a-‘uzu bika min wa’atha-is-safar, wa kaa-batil-manzari, wa suu-i-lmunqalabi fil-mali wal-ahli
Translation: O Allah I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, a sight of grief, and from an unfortunate occurance in wealth and family.

Dua for making intention before entering into Ihram
Niyyah or Intention is fundamental to every act in Islam, including Umrah. Ensure that you set your Niyyah just before commencing your Umrah. This declaration of intent is made at Miqat and should be recited both verbally and within your heart.
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهÙÙ…ÙŽÙ‘ عÙمْرَة
Translitration: Labbayka AllÄhumma ‘Umrah
Transation: O Allah, here I am to perform Umrah
Recite Talbiya when in Ihram and en route to Makkah
As you are travelling to Makkah keep reciting Talbiyah, send salawat to Prophet Muhammad ï·º.
لَبَّيْكَ اللهÙمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرÙيْكَ Ù„ÙŽÙƒÙŽ لَبَّيْكَ، Ø¥Ùنَّ الْØÙŽÙ…ْدَ ÙˆÙŽØ§Ù„Ù†Ù‘ÙØ¹Ù’مَةَ Ù„ÙŽÙƒÙŽ وَالْمÙلْكَ، لَا شَرÙيْكَ Ù„ÙŽÙƒÙŽ
Transliteration: Labbayka Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayka La Sharika Laka Labbayk, Innal Hamda Wan-ni’mata laka Wal-mulk, la shareeka lak
Translation: Here I am at your service, O Allah, Here I am at Your service. Here I am at Your service, You have no partner, here I am at Your service. Truly all praise and blessings belong to You, and so does sovereignty. You have no partner.
Dua when entering Masjid Al Haram
As you approach Al Haram, ensure to enter with your right foot first, reciting the below dua. It is advised to keep your gaze lowered as you walk and reserve your first view for the Ka’aba as you prepare for tawaf.
بسم الله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله
رب Ø§ØºÙØ± لي ذنوبي ÙˆØ§ÙØªØ لي أبواب رØÙ…تك
Transliteration: Bismillahi was-salatu was-salamu ‘ala Rasulillah Rabbi-gh-fir li dhunubi waftah li abwaba rahmatik
Translation: In the name of Allah, may blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O my Lord! Forgive me my sins and open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Dua when beginning Tawaf
Ø¨ÙØ³Ù’Ù…Ù Ø§Ù„Ù„ÙŽÙ‘Ù‡ÙØŒ اَللَّه٠أكبر
Transliteration: Bismillahi Allahu Akbar
Translation: In the name of Allah, Allah is the greatest
Dua when reaching the Yemeni corner (before reaching the Black Stone)
رَبَّنَا آتÙنَا ÙÙÙŠ الدÙّنْيَا ØÙŽØ³ÙŽÙ†ÙŽØ© Ù‹ ÙˆÙŽÙÙÙŠ Ø§Ù„Ø¢Ø®ÙØ±ÙŽØ©Ù ØÙŽØ³ÙŽÙ†ÙŽØ© Ù‹ ÙˆÙŽÙ‚Ùنَا عَذَابَ النَّار
Transliteration: Rabbana Aatinaa Fiddunyaa H’asanata Wa Fil Aakhirati H’asanata Wa Qinaa A’d’aab anNaar.
Translation: Our Lord, grant us good in this life and good in the hereafter and save us from the punishment of the Hellfire.

Dua to recite at Maqam Ibrahim
Upon completing the seven rounds of Tawaf, offer two rakats, preferably near Maqam Ibrahim. If the place is crowded, you can perform anywhere within the premises and recite,
ÙˆÙŽÙ±ØªÙ‘ÙŽØ®ÙØ°Ùوا۟ Ù…ÙÙ† Ù…Ù‘ÙŽÙ‚ÙŽØ§Ù…Ù Ø¥ÙØ¨Ù’رَٰهÙÙ€Û§Ù…ÙŽ Ù…ÙØµÙŽÙ„ًّÛÙ‰ ÙˆÙŽØ¹ÙŽÙ‡ÙØ¯Ù’نَآ Ø¥Ùلَىٰٓ Ø¥ÙØ¨Ù’رَٰهÙÙ€Û§Ù…ÙŽ ÙˆÙŽØ¥ÙØ³Ù’مَـٰعÙيلَ Ø£ÙŽÙ† Ø·ÙŽÙ‡Ù‘ÙØ±ÙŽØ§ بَيْتÙÙ‰ÙŽ Ù„ÙلطَّآئÙÙÙينَ وَٱلْعَـٰكÙÙÙينَ وَٱلرّÙÙƒÙ‘ÙŽØ¹Ù Ù±Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬ÙودÙ
Transliteration: WattakhidhÅ« min maqÄmi IbrÄhÄ«ma muá¹£alla. Wa a’hidna i-la Ibrahima wa Isma-eela an tah-hira baytiya lit-ta-e’feena wal a’kifeena war-ruka’a sujood
Translation: And take the Maqam Ibrahim as a place of Salah. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], Purify My House for those who perform á¹awÄf1 and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer].

Dua after drinking Zamzam water
After completing your two rakats near Maqam Ibrahim, proceed to drinking Zamzam water. Before drinking the Zamzam water, make an intention that its consumption will be a means of fulfilling your duas. You can recite,
اللَّهÙمَّ Ø¥ÙنّÙÙŠ أَسْأَلÙÙƒÙŽ عÙلْمًا نَاÙÙØ¹Ù‹Ø§ ÙˆÙŽØ±ÙØ²Ù’قًا ÙˆÙŽØ§Ø³ÙØ¹Ù‹Ø§ ÙˆÙŽØ´ÙÙَاءً Ù…Ùنْ ÙƒÙلّ٠دَاءÙ
Transliteration: Allahumma as-aluka ‘ilman nafi’an, wa-rizqan wasi’an, wa shifa-an min kulli da-in
Translation: O Allah! We ask You for attaining beneficial knowledge, goodly provisions, and good health.
Dua to recite during Sa’ee (Safa and Marwa)
Upon completion of the tawaf, you’ll proceed to the next ritual known as Sa’ee. This involves walking seven rounds between the hills of Safa and Marwah, starting at Safa.
After drinking Zamzam, while on your way to Safa, recite the below dua,
Ø¥Ùنَّ الصَّÙَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ Ù…Ùنْ Ø´ÙŽØ¹ÙŽØ§Ø¦ÙØ±Ù الله Û– Ùَمَنْ ØÙŽØ¬Ù‘ÙŽ الْبَيْتَ أَو٠اعْتَمَرَ Ùَلَا جÙنَاØÙŽ Ø¹ÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙŠÙ’Ù‡Ù Ø£ÙŽÙ† يَطَّوَّÙÙŽ بÙÙ‡Ùمَا Ûš ÙˆÙŽÙ…ÙŽÙ† تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا ÙÙŽØ¥Ùنَّ اللهَ Ø´ÙŽØ§ÙƒÙØ±ÙŒ عَلÙيمٌ
Transliteration: Inna á¹£-á¹£afÄ wa l-marwata min sha’Ä’iri llÄhi. Fa-man hajja-l bayta aw-wi’a-tamara fala junaha a’layhi ay-yataw-wafa bihima. Wa man ta-taw-wa’a khairan fa-innallaha Shakirun Aleem
Translation: Indeed, ˹the hills of˺ Ṣafa and Marwah1 are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes the major or minor pilgrimage to the ˹Sacred˺ House,2 let them walk between ˹the two hills˺. And whoever does good willingly, Allah is truly Appreciative, All-Knowing.
[Surah Al Baqarah 2:158]
Dua when reaching Safa
Upon reaching the hill of Safa, face the direction of the Ka’aba, raise your hands in supplication and recite the Tawhid (Oneness of Allah), Takbir(Allah is the Greatest), and Tahmid(Gratefulness to Allah).
Recite the dua three times:
Ø§Ù„Ù„Ù‘Ù°Ù‡Ù Ø£ÙŽÙƒÙ’Ø¨ÙŽØ±ÙØŒ Ø§Ù„Ù„Ù‘Ù°Ù‡Ù Ø£ÙŽÙƒÙ’Ø¨ÙŽØ±ÙØŒ Ø§Ù„Ù„Ù‘Ù°Ù‡Ù Ø£ÙŽÙƒÙ’Ø¨ÙŽØ±ÙØŒ ÙˆÙŽÙ„Ùلّٰه٠الْØÙŽÙ…ْدÙ
Transliteration: AllÄhu akbar, AllÄhu akbar, AllÄhu akbar, wa li LlÄhi l-ḥamd
Translation: Allah is the Greatest; Allah is the Greatest; Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise.
Ù„ÙŽØ¢ Ø¥Ùلٰهَ Ø¥Ùلَّا اللّٰه٠وَØÙ’دَه٠لاَ شَرÙيكَ Ù„ÙŽÙ‡ÙØŒ لَه٠الْمÙلْك٠وَلَه٠الْØÙŽÙ…Ù’Ø¯ÙØŒ ÙŠÙØÙ’ÙŠÙÙŠ ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙÙ…ÙÙŠØªÙØŒ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ عَلَى ÙƒÙلّ٠شَيْء٠قَدÙيرٌ
Transliteration: La ilÄha illa LlÄhu waḥdahu la sharÄ«ka lah, lahu l-mulku wa lahu l-ḥamd, yuḥīī wa yumeet, wa huwa Ê¿alÄ kulli shay’in qadÄ«r.
Translation: There is no deity except Allah, alone without a partner. To Him belongs the Dominion, and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and death, and He has power over everything.
Ù„ÙŽØ¢ Ø¥Ùلٰهَ Ø¥Ùلَّا اللّٰه٠وَØÙ’دَه٠اَنْجَزَ وَعْدَه٠وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَه٠وَهَزَمَ اَلْأَØÙ’زَابَ ÙˆÙŽØÙ’دَهÙ
Transliteration: Laa ilaha illallahu wahdahu anjaza wa’dahu, wa nasara ‘abdahu wa hadhamal ahzaaba wahdahu
Translation: There is no deity except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, supported His slave and defeated the confederates alone.
After reciting this dua, you may recite your own supplications. Read the dua a total of three times, making your own supplications in between each time, as was the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH).
Occupy yourself with remembrance of Allah, supplications, and recitation of the Quran until you reach Marwah. Face the Qibla and repeat your supplications.
