Umrahme Roadshow in Pakistan: A Strong Umrah Resurgence


Umrahme Roadshow, the biggest event to welcome the Umrah revival from Pakistan. The process of preparing an event as big as the Pakistani Market was tiring and full of obstacles yet rewarding and exciting. All the company’s departments conjoined to create a flawless, valuable, and amusing experience for our Pakistani agents. The roadshow took 45 days of preparation and a 10 days trip.  We traveled over 12,000 km by air and land and carried over 600 kg of promotional materials all the way to Pakistan.

A Roadshow in the Making

After the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced it is now issuing Umrah visas for Pakistani pilgrims, The roadshow execution was inevitable to welcome the Umrah revival from Pakistan, the land of the Pure. It was scheduled for 3 days in 3 cities. The roadshow includes 2 interactive sessions for each city. The main audience for the roadshow was Pakistani Umrah agents, for whom, the most recent Umrah news, rules, and regulations were highlighted, and the new Umrah journey’s procedures and requirements were showcased. Umrahme Roadshow was the perfect opportunity to connect the industry leaders, present the latest updates, and offer the best deals on hotels and transport for Umrah agents in Pakistan.

Our Partners

Umrahme Roadshow was coordinated in partnership with TAAP (Travel Agents Association of Pakistan), Kingdom Tracks Company Limited, PIA (Pakistan International Airlines), and Baarik our distribution partner for quarantine packages in Pakistan. The roadshow was held in Karachi on the 21st of February,2022 at Ramada Karachi Creek Hotel, Lahore on the 24th of February, 2022, at Ramada by Wyndham Lahore Gulberg II, and Islamabad on the 1st of March at Ramada by Wyndham Islamabad.

The Activities

The roadshow included many activities, which were documented by more than 200 pictures and 3 videos, but the main activity was the collective sessions which were conducted 2 times a day in each city. The sessions included an interactive Q&A session which empowered our attendees’ business decisions with all the questions asked and the detailed answers that were given. Moreover, Umrahme’s experts did a full presentation on the industry’s facts and figures, the updated news, the mandatory rules and regulations, and everything that is related to the business during and after the pandemic. Also, a forecast of what to be expected for the coming seasons was explained at the end of each session which gave the guests a bird’s eye view of the situation.

During Umrahme Roadshow, we were honored to meet more than 450 agents, gave 5 interactive seminars, did 2 TV interviews, 2 newspaper interviews, and rewarded 50 prominent agents. All of this resulted in a three-times growth from the Pakistani Market in February, compared to the past year.
