Best Duas To Recite in Ramadan 2024

As we embrace the spirit of Ramadan, we begin with hearts brimming with gratitude to Allah for giving us a chance to witness the profound month. It’s a time filled with deep prayers, lots of recitation of the Quran, countless supplications, and heartfelt charities.Â
One of the beautiful virtues of Ramadan is,Â
Abu Hurairah said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained up.â€Â [Sahih Bukhari, 1898; Muslim, 1079]Â
To aid in maximizing the benefits of these blessed days and nights, we have compiled a select list of duas to recite during Ramadan. Â
We encourage you to keep the dua list within easy reach—take a printout or keep it handy on your phone. This way, you can seamlessly integrate the recitation into your daily routine during the holy month.Â

Dua for breaking your fast during RamadanÂ
As the moment of Iftar approaches, hunger and fatigue are at their peak. That is the crucial time for a fasting person to concentrate and make heartfelt supplications. This is because the dua made at this time is believed to be accepted. The following hadith explains this in detail:Â
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ï·º) said:Â
“There are three whose supplication is not rejected: The fasting person when he breaks his fast, the just ruler, and the supplication of the oppressed person…†[Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, 2525]Â
When breaking the fast, it is recommended to recite what was narrated by ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said that when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) broke his fast, he would say, Â
Â

Take these moments to invoke your sincerest duas, knowing that this is a special opportunity for them to be heard and granted, in’sha Allah.Â

Importance of Dua During RamadanÂ
Dua holds a transformative power for personal growth and closeness to Allah. It’s the direct conversation with your Creator, where one expresses its deepest hopes and desires.Â
It’s the bridge that could lead your prayers to come true, in sha Allah. What better to amplify your duas, than reciting them in the holy month of Ramadan especially when the doors of mercy are opened for us. Â
Allah says in the Quran,Â
Transliteration: Wa idha sa’alaka ‘ibadi ‘anni fa’inni qareeb. Ujeebu da’wathad da’ee idha da’aan. Fal yasthajeebu’li wal yu’minu bi la’alahum yar shudunÂ
Meaning: When My servants ask you ‘O Prophet’ about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ‘with obedience’ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided ‘to the Right Way’. [Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:186]Â
This verse signifies that no matter how close or distant you are from Allah, always ask Him and He will respond to you. Â
