Would you tell us more about yourself?
Mustafa Kamal Al-Sharif, AlOlayan Group of Hotels Makkah, I have 9 years of experience in hotel management.
How was AlOlayan Group of Hotels Makkah able to face the challenges of the spread of the Covid-19?
We believe that “the house has a Lord who protects it” and this is what helped us to be steadfast. We showed determination and will to face these difficult circumstances. We are dedicated to serving Doyof Al Rahman, and this is a great honor. The policies adopted by the Kingdom, under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, were the reason, after Allah the Almighty, that this crisis passed with the least losses, and with the reopening of Umrah and the increase in the capacity, things are gradually beginning to improve.
AlOlayan Group of Hotels is one of the oldest hotel groups in the Middle East, we have hotels in most Islamic countries and we have been in the Saudi Market for over 10 years.
We started with one hotel in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in Al-Bab Neighborhood, Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed Street, and with the expansion of Al-Haramain it was removed and now we have reached 9 hotels in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and are in Cairo today to finalize the agreement on two new hotels in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
What services do you provide to the guests of AlOlayan Group of Hotels Makkah?
We offer economic accommodation for our guests; the Hotels are 3-star category. Our utmost goal is to make our guests feel comfortable to be able to perform their rituals with ease. We have direct instructions from His Excellency Suleiman Al-Olayan, General Manager of the Olayan Group, always look for the guest’s satisfaction and never settle for less, as we believe that the field in which we work is a humanitarian field, and that those who are looking for financial returns only will lose a lot.
I would also like to highlight the technological boom that occurred in the Hajj and Umrah sector, which came as a result of great efforts by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom to facilitate the journey of Doyof Al Rahman, the beginning was with the launch of the central search engine “Maqam”, which helped us a lot in indirect marketing of the hotel and its services.
How would you rate your experience on umrahme.com?
We consider ourselves partners of success with Umrahme. We have good relations with the platform and its team. The platform provides its customers with a full range of services related to the Umrah trip.
